The brilliant colors and smooth character of the petals are the perfect foil for the dried grasses. If not for the green stem and leaf, I might think you intentionally pulled all the color out of the grasses, but the same ones here, where I live, do the same. The grass bleaches as the flowers hang in much longer. Beautiful work.
