Sandi, if I compare the contents of the feeder to the size of its body and project this onto my size versus the contents of my pantry, the comparison is flawed. But, unlike this Sweet Downy, I don't have to hibernate in harsh conditions, 😁 ! Very nice 'action shot' of this feathered friend!

She is wonderful Sandi:)! Love the close up her and the detail. We have a feeder here in our backyard, but we do not have woodpeckers visiting, just finches, sparrows, junco's, scrub jays and towhees and doves. They are so fun to watch no matter what type of bird it is:). Thanks for sharing this little sweetie:)
At first I thought you had clipped her and the feeder out of a fuller image, then I spotted the edge of the feeder support bar on the far right. My suggestion would be to have removed that bar; when the photo is at full size, that bar becomes distracting. Just saying. Otherwise, it is an outstanding capture, Sandi, and Kathy is right about it.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
This downey has some easy pickings here. I like the blurred white background to focus the eye on the feeder and bird. I might have cloned out the dark line on the right.
