I did drive around a week before the major storm blew through. That is center lake frozen over. I'm not sure what category to put this in, so I chose general.

Very unusual and neat find. I like it a lot. Maybe we need a category for the "unusual" capture.

Sandi, often I don't know too which gallery to choose for a photograph I submitted. I don't think it's that important either. Better a good photograph without an appropriate gallery than a well-chosen gallery without a good and appropriate photograph.

This is an awesome looking piece of art. Wonder what it was made of. I like Johns idea of an unusual category in the contests to come. Great capture.

My guess is that this is some sort of sculpture? If so it*s pretty cool (from a life-long artist) and contrasts nicely with the surrounding landscape. It*s also a pretty good capture for a night shit. Very clear once I zoomed in.
