Sandi, with this well chosen bokeh it's impossible for the tulip to escape from the attention. Because of its beauty it deserves it very well. Wonderful floral macro and a very apt contribution for Foofy Friday (F²)!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Yup, these *fourlips* (there is, after all, two of them here ;o) look as though they are lifting their faces to the sky, preparing to open fully and sing their song of Spring, something that is finally beginning to happen in my wife*s front yard flower garden (good thing she covered them before our last blizzard, last month). The simplicity of this photo, all emphasis on the blossoms only, with a view of a tulip phase we normally do not see, is what I would classify as *pure*. Peaceful images like this are so essential in our current stressful times, a quiet study of which is guaranteed to clam the blood pressure of some viewers. . . like me. ;o)
