I apologize for being slow to comment on postings - my typing skills are being sorely tested by a deep laceration to my left forefinger. I was doing battle with an onion preparing dinner last night and the onion won! They fixed me up today at the immediate care center but they could not do stitches as I had waited too long to get there. So they used those surgical steri- strips and have it covered with bandages and a metal splint-like tip. Fortunately it is not my camera shooting finger! This lovely white antherium has lingered too long in my files without posting so today is its day.

Our old photos are always handy, Kathy. Don't worry, it's not tragic, once I was typing with one hand, left, for five weeks when I broke my wrist. And I was translating. By the way, this albino is fantastic.

It's not the first time that an onion has won a battle, Kathy.
Every time I'm reminded (with tears in my eyes) when cutting onions.
I wish you a speedy recovery.
Thank you for providing us with another beautiful floral contribution, despite this misery.

Your injury got me to wondering if they made a left handed camera. I'm left handed and never thought about it before. I found this camera.

Sorry about your injury and I don't want to make light about it, but I can just visualize someone wrestling with an onion. It brings tears to my eyes. 😁

The photo is great and I didn't realize there were albino flowers. Thanks for sharing and I hope you are a fast healer.

Sorry to hear about your accident Kathy. Those butterfly plasters can heal the finger I am sure. A lovely photo of the white flower.

Your pictures are always about beauty, as is this one. I am sorry to read of your injury and not being able to be sutured. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

At one time, I thought of buying one of those remote shutter releases for my Canon, with thoughts it would reduce or eliminate camera movement when using the camera. I never did get one, but Tick's comment about left handed cameras (I'm left handed too) brought back the memory.
