That is the name of this variety of helenium - a member of the aster family - they bloom in August and September. The colloquial name for it is sneezeweed - not very appealing.

Love salsa but could do without the sneezing - in all seriousness, a very unique flower indeed - now let me put some salsa on that avocado that just ripened - Great Find and Capture Kathy!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathy, I don't know why they've chosen for the nickname sneezeweed. Although I'm sensitive to pollen grains, it doesn't bother me at all behind my screen, 😁 .
Just kidding of course.

Well, the colors of salsa are definitely all there. Next is the taste test.
