Splendid Foofy Friday (F²) macro of this special Hibiscus cultivar, Kathy. Your floral contributions are a good way to put into perspective the misery that is poured out on us by means of the media. In any case, they are an uplifting counterbalance to all the misery that befalls us.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Either that flower is actually a volcano with a lava tree spurting out of it, or the Puerto Ricans have built themselves a radio antenna to rival and replace the collapsed Arecibo, camouflaged to look like a tropical flower from space (the visitors from Andromeda will never suspect).
Seriously though, this is a flower to blow away every other flower.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
