I found this lovely rose colored mallow back in a dark corner next to some concrete blocks. I couldn't figure out why it was being treated like an unwanted relative so I took its picture - it was really a lovely mallow. My foofy for this Friday.

Good that you've brought this mallow in the 'spotlights', giving it a far better attention now rather than a dark corner next to some concrete blocks could do.
Thanks for this very fine Foofy Friday (F²) contribution!

A mallow? One that I have not heard of before; it has a strong resemblance to a poppy, like the paper kind that used to be handed out on Veterans Day. (At first I could not help wondering if a Marsh was involved; nudge, nudge, wink, wink ;o)

It is lovely. I had a couple of paler Rose Mallows, they are prolific growers and I had to remove one.The other battles on, thriving on neglect. I hope the lovely unloved one you discovered finds a nice home. At least it has had a lovely portrait take :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
