Love this style of mum - seen in the greenhouse generally. Don't forget to vote in the contest by messaging Mimi with your votes - see the discussion board under contests for more info!
Thanks for the reminder in your narrative, Kathy. Meanwhile I've sent Mimi a PM with my votes for the 'Motion Blur' contest. I hope that many Caedes-friends may follow.
About the photograph: a splendid capture of a to me unknown Mum species. Just wonderful!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Kathy this is absolutely stunning!!! I have never seen a flower like this, your work is tremendous and mother nature provides so much beauty to photograph.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It's like watching the Tilt-a-Whirl in action at the carnival. A gorgeous and unusual flower. My mom loved mums and planted a number of them around her yard, but they certainly weren't like this. She would have drooled over it.
