I always associate delphiniums and larkspur with July - so thought I should get this posted while July was still here. I will admit I'm always drawn to blue flowers.

Kathy, I'm not drawn to a flower of a specific color. Their variety in color, shape and their ability to spread fragrant scents is a miracle in itself for me.
However, if someone has a specific choice for a certain color of a flower or flower variety, I completely understand.

I especially like the composition on this, the vertical image, and the angle. It is presented perfectly to appreciate the beauty of this divine flower. Bravo....

My mother-in-law*s favorite color. A good nudge-reminder for me to go out in the countryside to pick some for her. She is 86 but this is the color of the 17-year-old eyes she sees the world through (they are the eyes she was born with and she is still as delightful as she was at 27).
