Gorgeous color, Hilda! Such a great time of day ... I love the quiet, stillness of the early morning, where you can notice things like the movement of the grass.
Spectacular Walters!! The sky doesn't need a sunrise in it, it's taking its beautiful hue from the advance light of the impending sun scene...You know I'm tucking this one in my sky file..great job, my friend!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I grant you Hilda, it is a simple subject. The thing is ... you've made it very dramatic. Lovely color in this and the clear focus on the grass is marvelous. Definitely dramatic to my eyes and quite moving ... in fact it's moving me to the hallway closet for a sweater ... suddenly I'm feeling a draft and a little chilly. :)
Superb Hilda - I think I like this better than the shot you were waiting for!!!! Not an easy one to get either, it's as good technically as it is aesthetically.
WOW this is really good Hilda!!...the background of early morning sun lit sky is perfect...and you have preserved nice detail in grass...Very Good!!...gerry

Woah.. ahh this is an incredible shot! the colours truly are fantastic, and i love the short focus on the little blades of grass and suggestion of movement in them. This is going into my favourites i like it so much.
