I went out to take pictures of the snow on the trees, but the patterns and textures of these branches that were protected underneath drew my eye instead.

I saw this in the voting booth earlier this morning, and I had to give it a 10 and as I was doing so I thought of you and how much you'd probably enjoy it....boy howdy, was I ever right!!!

Love the frame! Great technique, hope you don't mind if I copy your idea there. :) Evergreens against snow mean "winter" to me, since I grew up in the Northwest...so I especially like this picture.

Nice job on this , Hilda. I like the shadows of the branches too and you loving embossing sets the whole thing off like a lovely card.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
