You softened the shot and deepened the colors quite well, but you forgot to mention the genius in composition, by including that adorable child. Great shot Hilda ... Wonderful message.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
Beautifully shot, Hilda. The ortonization was the perfect touch to soften the surroundings. I've got to go out and rake the million leaves in the yard, but I'll take this precious pic with me in my mind and refer to it when I begin to resent the chore!

I love this picture. Fall is my favorite season, and this captures much of the wonder and beauty of it through a child's eyes. Right into my favorites.

Fabulous, fabulous work -- spun me around on my chair when it opened in the voting booth. (VB needs thicker carpeting to absorb the impact of rare images like this one, btw, Caedes.) Great stuff Hilda, the shock of the blue against the warm colours makes this very stylish, and the direction the baby's outstretched arms and turned head make a strong composition. Deserves to do well and it has a C-index of 82 right now, nice to see the voters have recognised a fine shot. Faved.
