Hello Simon, I don't know how these people know your name but I'll go with it. Simon I have another photo on hear named Toronto Ca. I think if you see it you will understand about the trees on Happy Clouds I can only see the top of them. ? #2 Freaky skys are outside my windows AAAAAAA lot up on this escarpment from my house I can see from lewiston ny, to Port Hope Ca. on a clear day. But thanks for look see.

...........Clouds are a good addition but perhaps a bit too dark. A cyclist, dog or Thai Chi guy on the horizon in front of the clouds might be nice..............))

Um, I dont know why you have to say stuff like "I can not think of a way this pic can work." Its not constructive and only tears the artist down. You should try to take a pic some time and see how hard it can be to get a good capture. I hope you will be a little more constructive and helpful to people!

Thanks for the suggestions on "Entering the Beach". The effect was supposed to be dreary and the lack of humans or animals was part of the desolate effect. I appreciate the comment though and will take everything you said into consideration. :)
