I did have several Why I Golf photos in my gallery but when I cleaned it up some time ago, I deleted them. I started over and this was the first one.

My grandsons, son and I play an annual golf tournament. In the beginning it was two of my grandsons but the youngest one is now six and this was his first year. The other two are 13 and 9. The two youngest and I played my son and oldest grandson this year and won by four strokes. They enjoyed heckling the losers after the match. I just stood by and enjoyed it all. Not unlike enjoying this rainbow that appeared while we were playing. It made me feel like God was happy we were all together. I hope you enjoy this shot.

The only camera I had at the time was the pocket Canon. The Nikon and Panasonic were at home enjoying the air conditioning. My thought was: "At least I had a camera with me."

A beautiful view and you captured the rainbow very well. Did you try to find the gold at the end of it? :-) Very nice clear photo with great colors.

Nicely composed shot, Ron. You're lucky to have your family close enough to do that. Mine are all over the globe.

Beautiful shot Tick and a great heartfelt narrative. Times like this are what lifetime memories are made of. Your Grandsons will remember your golf outings forever. The Rainbow approved of the day as well.
Glad your back !

So, your son was at a disadvantage eh...3 against 2...Not fair in my book!...The canon did a grand job of this, caught the rainbow Purfick...

One thing I seen about golf courses...they are always well kept!..

A wonderful scene well captured Tick. That rainbow looks great over the lovely landscape.

I suppose grandad did best and gave the credit to the young fellows.

Beautiful capture Tick. We often get rainbows over the Lake here and they are beautiful to the eye, but the camera just does not cature them as I see them. You've done a great job with this one.
