This couple has been patiently waiting for me to post this photo. It has been done for some time, but baseball games, golf and other commitments has put them on the back burner. I am sure they found something to do while they waited.

Romantic shot with them looking at the beautiful waterfalls and that amazing sky above, absolutely outstanding. Love the different textures of the clouds. I can almost here the falling water. Right into my favs

I like this one Tick. It is a lovely shot with that sky and the waterfall. The lovers add the right touch to the scene and the lighting is simply beautiful. Super shot!

Well they had a beautiful waterfall and sunset to enjoy during their wait and hopefully nothing negative transpired where they are now singing that old Neil Diamond song...beautiful capture and worth the wait for the rest of us.

It's rare that I see a photo of a location on Caedes that I recognize, one that I've actually been to. While Katrina was about to strike New Orleans (early fall, 2005), my wife and I were on an eleven-state road trip, going as far south as Oklahoma. Visiting her brother in far SE Kansas, he took us on a wee jaunt and ended up here at this place, a combination mill dam (the water line seen above) and a natural cascade, just south of Joplin, Missouri. It was an extremely humid day and the place had lots of visitors, some with cameras (including me, who eventually submitted several photos of the spot to Caedes). Apparently it's a popular place for locals to have their photos taken; we saw families, wedding parties, and even a group of about 16 high school cheerleaders, in red and white uniforms. We were heading to our car as they were arriving and, as the girls passed by us, so did a large, invisible cloud of mixed perfumes. Individually, they were probably quite nice; as a mixed group, the smell was overpowering.
