I remember taking a carriage ride through the streets of Rome with a girl I had met while I was vacationing there. I was stationed with the USAF in Brindisi and took a trip to Rome. What a great city and thanks for all the pleasant memories you have revived EDV.
After all that you know I think this is a great post.
Edoardo...dear friend...this is yet another one of your beautiful photos of your beautiful part of the world! I adore the arches, the scroll work, the various stones and textures so very very much. And then the wonderful sky. It is an amazing place! Oh how I would love to be there in person and see it. And, look at the bells!! How magnificent!!!
But you make it possible for me to enjoy your photos of these lovely places. Thank you so so much. Verena
Ed - In this one scene, one sees a large span of history. There is a great variety of architectural styles, each one of great interest. The sky is gorgeous. As you do so often, you have used the sunlight as an integral part of this great shot. Thad
I have got to go to Rome!! You tours of the city make me feel as though I am standing in the streets actually looking at the buildings in person, not on a screen.
