This is on highway 50 (Lincoln Highway) on the east side of Lake Tahoe. It's known as Cave Rock. Many may know where this is or have been there themselves and know how great a view it is.Taken from this location a few years ago with my cell phone: US-50, Glenbrook, NV 89413 Here: 39.046349, -119.948309). Decent shot for a cell phone. I'm guessing you had an easier method of getting up here without resorting to scrabble and rock climbing? I had won a 3-day stay here, back about 30 years ago, but gave it to my adopted parents who needed a stop-over point between San Diego and North Dakota. They loved it. I can see why. Now on my "bucket list".
I just now checked out a satellite photo of the area and can see there's a hiking trail that leads up there, and that the highway we see goes through a tunnel under the rock y point you're shooting from. Neato.
