Chris, pretty hard to achieve an optimal capture because of the difficult lighting conditions. But the result is good however. A good composition too because it's leading us to an unknown spot in the woods. Intriguing, and one that makes us curious what will come.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

What a great place for a bike, with plenty of space for hikers as well. I remember walking a very primitive and rarely used trail in Glacier National Park. The ground was rather open with few shrubs but very tall and thick woods, creating a dim stillness like I see in your photo, Chris, the kind of dim stillness that has the same effect that looking up into the stars can do, giving one one a sense of being rather small in the face of nature.
