im not really obsessed with westminster, it just happens i have been there a few times recently! lol this is a shot from the london eye , it shows you big ben and parliament, so you can get some sort of impression of size and location that you cant get from a ground shot

Great Jan. Hope you don't party too much at New Year's to continue your fine night shooting. This is great with all the colors and the framing is topnotch. That London Eye must be a good place to go. Happy New Year.

I like both of your shots of this famous place. Of course this has that special appeal because of the angle, but I also liked the dramatic sky in the other. You're doing a very fine job. ILTWIL :)PJ

Great night shot, Jan! I love what you do to the colors. I've been on the London Eye, but not at night. Would love to do it sometime though.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Thought I'd commented on this but obviously not - you could be commissioned as London's official photographer I reckon. I'm saying no more!
