For in and out, above, about, below,
'Tis nothing but a Magic Shadow-show,
Play'd in a Box whose Candle is the Sun,
Round which we Phantom Figures come and go.
From Edward Fitzgerald's Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
I'll have to make a confession about this image. Normally, being the hardcore landscape person that I am, I normally would not save this type image. But, I saved this one. There is something very appealing about it; very realistic. Makes a great desktop which is where it is right now. KEEP-PAH!
This one is for the advertising and the vacation brochure Dimps.
The other is for the art gallery downtown. That is the best way I know to say they both are good shots.

What did you do with everybody?? Both shots are great, Jan, with different elements in each that make it hard to choose a favorite.
All the best in the new year!
This is an absolute stunner, Jan, and I faved it, but I'm a nit-picker, a perfectionist, and generally a pain-in-the-butt, so I think I would have moved about a foot or less to the right to place the triple-globe light pole directly in the middle, aligned with the pointed tip of the structure behind it. That would also have placed the benches directly in the middle and made the whole image perfectly symmetrical (except for the sign, of course). Just a thought... pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken.
