You must wait for it to make the new images or go to Caedes Control and enter it Dimps. A very interesting face and good editing technique to go along with this well captured shot. Set 'em Joe and Play Walking the Floor.

This guy is still smiling after he looks like he's fallen on some hard times. Appears he's had his nose broken maybe even more than once. What a character. Well done, Jan. Almost a mix of color and b/w in your post work. Good luck!
Love this one, the details are painfully, desperately sharp. Lifes been harsh, but the eyes are still happy and soulful, framed by laugh lines. Cindy said 'character' and I think that's what you you caught.

Wow, what a portrait! The treatment you used is very unique Jan! Such interesting contrast and texture... He made for a great subject to capture as well. Fantastic :)))
Wow!!! Jan, this is a runaway winner for sure!!!!! Outstanding image and a wonderful treatment you have given it. Bravo!!! Can I just get past the formality and congratulate you now? I think this will take the grand prize!!!!!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Outstanding, Jan! While this fellow seems content, his face displays lots of drama. Betcha he has a few stories to tell. This is just spectacular. You have chosen a superb subject. This was truly a gift of human emotion.
