So still and even the duck has not made a ripple! No wonder this is called Mirror Lake. The plant and flowers in the forefront enhance the view very well. Nice colours too.

Good contrast between water and flower...the flower certainly catches the eye!

I love the look of the water in this shot, has a very "Monet" (the artist)effect to it. well done, Cheers, Al.

The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken. Homer (800 BC - 700 BC), The Odyssey (note: beer substituted for wine)

Well, it almost is living up to its' name. When the breeze dies down, it probably looks like sheer glass. I love the small yellow flowers in the foreground and the little duck is a wonderful inclusion too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I agree with Al and Pat about the Monet effect. The reflections and the shading colors are Brilliant. The title with double meaning is excellent.

Lyn, this is almost a painting. You've created a wonderful image by showing us only the reflections in the water. Well done! Regards, Cornelius

Those colours are superb. Very nicely composed, the plant and duck give it a setting and scale, but by being off to the side don't distract from the colour and pattern of the water. Love it.

Cheers...........
