A bit of Ortonisation and a bit of HDR and now a lot of doubt because I have looked at it for so long I can not tell, so I welcome your opinions :) Panasonic DMC-FZ7

What an absolute stunner, Lyn! The sky is mesmerizing, especially with those hints of lenticular clouds you've captured. Some excellent post-processing on this image, which really makes it jump out of the screen.
Neat shot! The sky is beautiful yet filled with something of a brewing storm. This one really does move ones mind to deep thought the longer you look at it. Well done again!
A bit of sky, clouds, mountain, water, trees, grass - you have "put" them all very well together in this picturesque scene Lyn. I have just received a calendar from a friend in Tauranga which shows New Zealand in all its glory. Your photo could well find a place there.
Lovely clouds! I have to admit that I think it looks too real - it's neither one thing nor the other. It certainly grabbed my attention when I saw the thumbnail. Keep on with the experimentation - it's a rewarding path to follow.
Stunning. I don't really understand either process but this is great. So clear and the reflection on the perfectly calm water is beautiful. You did good Lyn. For your reward, have a nice weekend.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Very interesting work, Lyn. This shot has much to recommend it, though I think two minor aspects could be improved: (i) the mountains have a pale fringe in full-screen view and (ii) the reflection in the water is too sharp and clear - it could do with tweaking a little with a ripple filter or something similar. Otherwise, it looks great!
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
Lyn, when an image is in principle not good, Orton and HDR can't change this. Orton and HDR can only enhance an already good image by adding some dramatic effects.
Think you achieved, by using them both, the best possible result and it's stunning.
