Boat Shed and Mail Boxes by the sea. A path well trod as there are steps down the side of the shed to the beach which is further down than it appears from this photo. This is at a small fishing village on the North Otago coast of New Zealand. Taken with Canon 450D. Thank you for your views and any comments :)

A very good rustic scene by the seashore LE. Great angle. Mailboxes must be pretty much the same all over the world.

A village where time stood still. Suppose that e-mail is still an unknown phenomenon there, Lyn, lol.
Wonderful post with a, to me, very special atmosphere.
Well done!
Regards, Cornelius.

The sea looks awfully close to that cabin but I would still love to live there or at least vacation.

So much to look at here. Love the sea action and the graduation of the letterboxes.

A lovely view of the beach from up above Lyn. Nicely composed image with good lighting and clarity.

Lyn - What a grand scene, creatively framed by the bush on the left and pole on the right. Though there is much to view in the foreground, I like the great depth to the image. Only a minor point, but I find the sign on the far right a bit annoying and might have cloned it out. Thad

There's a step pattern going on in here that I like. The posts on the mailboxes mimics the board-and-batten walls of the shed (and the red of the roof mimics the mailboxes), separated by the foliage which mimics the waves behind the shed. Very Edward Hopperish in its composition.
