This is two photos I have stitched together and quite a lot of editing done. I did not take them but have the permission of the phone photographer (my son) to use them. They were taken late afternoon yesterday from the window of his friend's apartment. Not a bad view to see each day !
I have it on my desktop so I may indulge in a bit of nostalgic homesickness :)

The leaving of Liverpool by the Dubliners You may care to have a listen to this. The video features some old photos of this area and it is interesting to see how it has changed, and what buildings are still there.
I hope you like it and thank you for any comments which are always much appreciated.

"The leaving of Liverpool by the Dubliners" - sounds like something to do with Brexit Lyn :) Very nice capture by your son and editing by you of this beautiful city scene. The Liver building brings back memories for me as I had been so often in Liverpool in the old days.

Nice stitchery-do, Lyn; I'm at a loss as to where you joined them. As for the photo, I can understand you wanting to see the same view your son does. Cityscapes can be dull or a doozy. This one's a doozy.

This a grand bit of work LynEve, and an amazing view. The color and tone of the shot suggested another iconic UK image to me, the balloon pig flying over Battersea Power Station on the cover of Pink Floyd's album Animals. The wide aspect really compliments the rich complexity of the artificial landscape and doesn't leave out anything important. And with this stitching, you and and your son are doing exactly what I bought a Tilt/Shift lens for. To create super wide angle images, with no loss in resolution from cropping. This would be the Shift function and to see it done so well with cellphone shots makes me feel like a dinosaur. But I hope to see a lot more terrific creations from the two of you.
