NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS COPYRIGHTED AND NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. Flat lands do not often make the best images except when the sky is on a rampage-then you may find yourself in a photographic "hog heaven". Some of the photographic magazines have had some excellent articles on doing B&W so I will be experimenting with that for awhile. Please view full screen. Helpful critique welcomed.

---Helpful critique welcomed---

Seeing this image, wouldn't know how to be helpful in any way.
What an atmosphere is this dramatic post Momma!

Awesome! I can see why sky photos look so good over flatlands. Here the clouds look almost as if they are just some 100 feet above the ground and one can clearly see the height of the clouds. A superb shot Pat, fit for a Meteorology book!

Stunning! Caught my eye even with the small shot on the new images page, but full screen it's breathtaking, well done.

A great tonal range and I love the silvery quality to the light. Nothing you can do about this but compositionally the clouds didn't co-operate! The top third right corner of the image the clouds are much calmer then the rest, like two different skies, to my eye it's out of balance, but that's nature for you, not going to just lie there and look pretty for US! :)

Nice to see you trying b/w Owd Momma. I know it is not your favorite but at least you are open to new ideas. That is a big plus. I suspect it was quite a site to see. Nice work.

Being in B&W can make such a difference in some cases and this is such a case. I'm sure the image would have still looked impressive in colour but the B&W just adds so much to the drama. This is a wonderful image Pat so bring on the B&W!
