Ripple was or is a wine made famous by many winos and brown bags Owd Momma. The river bottom is the color of the bags. Great angle and wonderful photo.
Hello Pat...A very impressive shot: great colours, excellent composition, beautiful light.....Well done....All the very best to you Pat.......................Mick.

Definitely unusual, and a wonderfully composed shot, Pat. I like the sky in this shot, too, and the colors along the riverbanks are gorgeous. Very nicely done!
That is very unique, I've never seen anything quite like it, mostly because it appears to go all the way across. Do you know if this is stone or sand on the bottom? It has the characteristics of shore ripples except there's no waves I can see coming in from the left. If it's stone, then what you've captured is a prehistoric lake shore, with lines carved from gradual lowering of the water level, creating these ledges. It might seem a strange concept but many things other than animals and plants can become fossils -- I have fossilized hail stone strikes in my collection.
