10 A.M. This is a stretch of beach on the west coast of India. The hot sun has heated up the yellow sand and the haze rises over the sea. Erosion has been eating away at the shore. Miles and miles of beach but except for the few birds not a soul about. This is not a manipulation. I walked quite a distance and turned back without seeing anyone on this stretch of desolate and deserted beach. This is also my entry for the contest.

Desolated, but a wonderful, beach indeed Raj. Think those beaches are pretty hard to find on this world.

Such a beautiful beach too and I can see that it is slowly being washed away. With a country as populated as India, I never thought of there being areas that were isolated like this.
I like the stand of palm trees and the misty look beyond the curve of the beach. A fine entry, Raj. Very good luck!

This is the kind of desolation that I would enjoy Raj. A little Corona, a lime and a lawn chair. What a great entry and the colors are super.

Beautiful Shot. For some reason I just expect King Kong to be sitting in the trees just out of the shot. It has a very Monster Island feel to it I think. Almost like a place Man was never meant to tread upon. Great choice for the Desolate theme.
