Perfect colors in this one, Raj, enhanced by a wonderful background (the threatening sky). Hamburg isn't only famous for its harbor(s)(facilities), but for its parks and canals as well. The latter bigger in number than the Amsterdam, Holland canals!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Yeah, when I look at a Google map of the area I can see there's canals all over the place, all stemming from the Elbe River,in turn stemming from the North Sea. I love the architecture here, even in the canal walls. I'm seeing a series of square holes in the wall with thick pipe(?) in the middle, ladders that reach down to the water and what appears to be some kind of standpipe? Are these spots for boats to tie up in case the water level rises? Does it rise? And does that have something to do with the North Sea? I like an image that makes me think. A picture may be worth a thousand words but a photo can make you ask a thousand questions.
