Well, I was going to be a doof and say that I was surprised she had to hang out here for ten days before a suitor showed up...
Anyway, it's a lovely capture of these two, the clarity of even the fine gray feathers in his side, above his legs, is so good, we can see the lighter ones in there subtly lit from the light reflected up into the shadows from the metal dock. This image could easily be found in an encyclopedia of waterfowl... a quality encyclopedia. Outstanding, L.C.
