Taken at the ruins of Riseberga Nunnery built in the 12th century. This window is in the church, and it is the only wall that still reamins.

This is 'right on the money' as they say and a one of those shots that evoke so much to the viewer. For me, this has all the quality of a good painting with the eye being drawn out the window to wonder what lies out there. Faved for my growing desktop set! Tommy

Interesting idea, buildings like this always make me wonder what the lives of the people who lived in them were like.

I noticed the windows aren't big enough for them to escape. This will make a great desktop and I too like the light with the glimpse of tree outside. Nunnery is such a cool word. Nice post Susanne.

You've already gotten a lot of response to this one and I'm intrigued by the idea that this is the only wall left standing. It's sort of like a TV shot, where you know there are lots of places to escape, but you only see the one which is impossible!

You made me think on this one!
