I was taking photos of the frozen Black River when the floodgates opened upstream. This is very unusual in the winter. I managed to take this photo when the water was flowing over the ice and snow

Lucky for you the floodgates opened..it created a great scene. I love all that snow on the trees, and the golden colors in the stream look good. Nice capture, Susanne.
