Early one morning and I happened to catch this. It was an accident as I don't usually get up this early. But a good one I thought.

Carol, I too like the the divisions provided by the clouds. Its like watching the transition of order as day pushing night away.

Breathtaking, Carol. Interestingly (to this odd old duck, anyway), other than the fact that the sunlight reflecting off the earth is not strong enough to create something I see here, there is a perfectly circular shape straight above and a little to the left of the sun here. My guess is it's either lens flare or simply a perfectly shaped small cloud.
