Looks pretty wet for the Sea of Tranquility, Mare Tranquillitatis. Of course, it's probably gotten a lot of rain since July 20, 1969. That would be 579 months! ;oPPPPPPPPPPPPP
All kidding aside, this is most excellent in that the exposure is low enough to allow the circle of the sun to be visible, burning through those thin, horizontal clouds just enough in the center to make it appear as if it's peeking at us through its fingers. The high clouds and the band across the water are real bonuses. Now on my screen, Richie, thanks.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
The moon's reflection looks like a pathway to heaven. One which we all sometimes wish we could walk along, just for a little while to tell loved ones we love them. November is a cold month, but memories are warm :(
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
