I am at home again for just a few days so me and my wife went for a drive yesterday. We headed for the Arbuckle Mountains and found this little scene. I thought the lighting in this paticular one was perfect. I dont know if someone put that log on those rocks or if high waters did it but I thought that interesting as well.

Looks like a great place to go for a stroll and let the sand squish between the toes BTK. You composed this very well. You really think out a shoot these days. Be careful, it will make you slower on the trigger. :)

Swell! Those parallel ripples just add to the interest of the log in the foreground.

Love this scene Billy. Good decision to capture the log as well as it creates depth in your image.
Good work, my friend.

Billy - Yes, the lighting from behind and right creates some interesting shadows and creates a dynamic look of the hillside trees. It is a beautiful spot. Very nice work! Thad
