Seems I caught the moon in a mood to let me photograph him. This is the one and only capture of the moon I have ever done that is worh a darn. I hope you all enjoy it.

He really does look like the Man In The Moon here. You can actually see surface details. The lovely sunset colours help too, of course.

Hi Billy! It a beautiful shot but I have a couple of issues. The photo is very slanted and ease easily corrected with pretty much any software. Also it looks like the moon is fake and that it was photoshopped by erasing part of the moon.

great job & the moon is real hard as i tried last night again, anyone know why? my hats off to you billy if this was the case but im leaning more towards chrisf2005's comment. ive tried this shot many times & got no way near this clarity, none the less nice picture
