As said above this is the Nazareth Convent. The original building was built in 1898. That sight is now the St. Joseph hospital. I really liked this view of the convent. It shows how it almost looks castle like. I will show other views to show more of the details of this beautiful structure, But to learn more of its history look here.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Billy, thanks both for this wonderful post and your very interesting link to The Nazareth Convent and Academy in Concordia, Kansas. This image must be seen at full screen size to enjoy the textures of the bricks in the walls. Very good composition.
Regards, Cornelius.

It looks like a wonderful building and look forward to more BTK. I have a feeling the "Light to Concoria" will look much like this one from Hermann, Missouri. It is great to explore them.
Wonderful series.

Brilliant composition my friend, as usual.
The architecture is really interesting combining the using of bricks and slate for the roofs instead tiles.
