Oh how beautiful Steve, she looks a little bashful. Fantastic shot and love the way the bill really stands out, plus the reflections on the rippled water. A great entry to the current contest, if you do, Good Luck

This is a beautiful image and very effective use of selective coloring...I think minimal color and appropriate placing is important and works best and you've got both going for you here...great entry...good luck.
One of the few paintings I still have from my fine art major days in college is nearly a twin of this image. The main difference is the bare tree branches reflected in the water in my swan painting. I'm not sure, though, if I don't like yours better. The addition of keeping the orange bill reflection in the water is what really does it for me. Good luck in the contestI'm sure you'll do well. -Nik
