A contribution of mine to the 'Oxymoron'-contest. The 'sailer' is the 'Amsterdam', approaching the coast of Zeeland, The Netherlands in order to make a port call to Flushing. Hope you'll enjoy this image.

This beauty is capable of making every true sailor's heart beat faster. Excellent capture of a lovely ship and so well presented.
P.S. The owners would probably love to buy this from you Cornelius :)

Excellent photo and presentation C. You are the master of the sea and presenting it to landlubbers like myself. I always look forward to your posts and I try to learn from your framing and coloring. You've taught me a lot without knowing it. Thanks C and have a good Easter with your family.

Sir Francis Drake would have loved the addition of a motor on his ship - he would have made it in half the time! These big sale boats always remind me of him, as my mother came from Plymouth where they set sail! Excellent entry for the contest Cornelius! Good Luck! I have to find some time to take some photographs to enter! :)

Cornelius, I always look forward to your shot of boats and ships, they are always so well done, and you have the knowledge to back your shots up with very interesting narratives. Well done.

With the faint outline of a lofty cloud in the sky, the boat seems to be something out of a child's dreams. Robert Louis Stevenson-inspired, almost? Wonderful work.
