I've found this window recently in one the houses of a common street in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands, and thought it was a proper contribution for Manic Monday.
Now there's a unique idea; turning an ordinary sash window into an art exhibit. I particularly like how you cropped it down to incorporate the line of bricks surrounding, then placed an additional frame are that. Very nice.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Goodness, Cornelius - Rising tides on the lowlands of The Netherlands have taken a toll! ;-)
Many years ago, I had an office with no windows. So, the Art teachers got an old window sash and painted an outdoor scene on it and hung it for me to have some connection with the outdoors.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
