On a photo shoot in the 'middle of nowhere' (a South-Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands polder) my eyes were caught by this scene. Think it was worthwhile to capture it. Hope you'll agree with me, ☺ .
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I realise this sounds a bit silly, but I thought the land that was reclaimed from the sea would be too boggy to have anything such as this building on it. There's so much to the Netherlands that I have learned from you that I didn't know.
Oh, absolutely it was worth a capture, C. I dig varieties of architecture and this one is just loaded, from the artistically leaded lower windows and their lintels, and the distinctive dormer roofs above. The dentil application (white squares) between the lower and upper windows is something I've seen a lot of in Art Deco styling, so it's also nice to see something familiar amongst the classic European details. Did You get a closer shot of this place?
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Referring to 'Nik'' s forwarded question above: I took this shot on my way back home after a photo shoot, because it caught my attention. I took only two almost similar images. So I haven't one revealing more details.
