I had to climb into the mast in order to capture this 'bird's-eye view'. I'm just kidding of course, because I'm not that flexible anymore, 😁 .

The owners of these boats (antique wooden fishing boats that have been converted into sailing yachts) organize an 'open house' every year.

This photo was taken on one of these days. Location: Arnemuiden, a small town on the Walcheren peninsula, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

No one could guess that these were old fishing boats! The conversion is so well done. Nice shot of these good looking boats.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

It's amazing at how well these have been restored! I think your capture with the camera, and your editing has done a superb job!

I was believing you had climbed the mast SEA, because I didn't think there was hill tall enough in your country to get an angle like this. 😀
It really is a good photo with the perfect vantage point. "All ashore that's going ashore!"

The antique wooden fishing boats ... works of art ... craftsmanship ... you captured this perfectly, the strong colors, sharpness, love the human element... which I was there!

Looks like a great day and opportunity to visit these watercraft--such history, color, detail, and photo opportunity. When you first mentioned climbing a mast, however, I looked close at these and thought, "Wait up a moment, C., you're older than I am... how the hell... ?"
