This picture is taken at the Market Square of Bergen op Zoom, a medieval town in the south-western part of my country.
It's expected that in my country the restrictions due to the Covid-19 (Corona) pandemic will be gone by September 1st, 2021 because of the progress of the vaccination program. Now still there are some restrictions, but people are allowed to visit terraces when they take certain measures into account. This picture shows people who are enjoying this 'regained freedom'. The good weather was very helpful to the good atmosphere.
PS: the in this picture depicted tower is the in 1370 built tower of the Gertrudis-church. It has the nickname 'Peperbus' (pepper pot) because of its shape.

Mr. C., so happy that your restrictions will end by September and may Earth's people also find their freedoms restored as soon as safely possible from covid imposed limitations.

My first thought was �Man, that is old� (the tower and structure), then I read your text and fully agree. My wife and I have the antibodies from surviving Covid in January, and as of late April had both shots of the Phizer vaccine. At this point we have pretty much little to no chance of getting anyone sick, masks or not, traveling or not. I don�t know what the vaccination rate is in your country but, here in the U.S., we are hampered by science deniers, anti-vaxxers, and red ball caps who have politicized Covid and our attempts to halt any variants. I really don�t want to see one develop here because of those people and then travel to countries that are still fighting the original strain. Sorry about bringing politics into a Caedes comment but these are exceptional times. I�m happy to see your steady and expected common sense is foremost.
