A lot of people are, after a bike-tour, visiting the city palace, called Markiezenhof in Bergen Op Zoom, a medieval town in the west-southern part of the Netherlands. A wonderful ambience for having a coffee break there!

Reminds me of the Inn where the town folks gathered at night with their torches and pitchforks to work up the nerve to go kill Victor Frankenstein's monster. You weren't one of those folks, were you, Mr C? I hope not. lol.

There are not many countries on my wish list to visit, but Holland is definitely one, first to find you, C., second for the architecture, and third for the flowers. The rest will be pure gravy.

If I could bike there I would be there already,

Terrific setting for a relaxing break and coffee would make it hard to leave such a beautiful place. Lovely capture of this scene.

The sunshine makes the brickwork look even more beautiful and I am sure he walls would be warm to the touch

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
