I just thought: Wasnt there once a band?
Your words told me, I was right! Yeah!
About the image: I hate it. Oh no, thats a lie. I love it - yes right. I love how the light falls on the landscape, how I can see for so long and how everything is still full of details and sharp. Again your typical style, I like that much.
You may ask yourself, why not many of your images are in my favs - just because I do not want to put every image of you there - and thats what would happen.

Looks like a golf course over the hill. Just kidding. Great shot. Is that gorse and heather, or have I been watching too much of "The Open?" Love the colors and simple beauty of photo. I can see why Mick's photo inspired you.

Very purdy job Patti, what is it that HDR stands for exactly ?? I am not a photographer and I hear the term used a lot (seems to be the new trend)....... I have my little Nikon Coolpix L11 with 6.0 megapixel camera but it's just for snapshots. LOL Very nice indeed though, it really enhances an image and makes it much more dramatic........I think that's the word I want. :)

I too like the mood you have established. The picture portrays the roughness and courseness of life in the foreground with challenging clouds above. But as you journey across, the land becomes smoother and life is better. Lovely picture, Patti.

I truly think that new movies lately are using an HDR effect of some sort. I was just watching a movie not too long ago that was set in your country that had this sort of tinge to it. I love it. I use it once in a while. On some uploads, such as this one it gives a very dramatic effect.

:)

Patti, not an image to make someone depressed as it's a tranquil image to me. The colours and lighting in it are wonderful. Regards, Cornelius

Hi Patti

I love the HDR treatment you have given it here, and although I don't know much about it or how to use it, I am starting to see what benefits it has in your pictures. And again, you have turned something simple into something special. Great work again Patti. And of course, I'm FAR too young to remember the Moody Blues lol :-/
