Ha, ha, there are certainly plenty of seats to accomodate every regular member on this site.
And if you want to step into that huge arena with me, that's OK with me! Like gladiators of photography we could show of our best skills to the audiance. But you know... there can only be one winner...to death!!

I have seen lots of pictures of this structure and many of them are bent out of shape. This one is perfect. Again, great work. Look at all the seats and benches that Bob could try out?

Yeah I hired it for the get-together. Just another 22,572 members needed to fill it!
Your perspective on this is wonderful - you've taken the shot at probably the most interesting point with that diagonal line coming down, perfectly proportioned, from top to bottom. Really makes the point that 2,000 years ago they totally knew what they were doing.
I'm really enjoying my trip (again) to Rome. I didn't have a camera but it's just as well because your photo's are outstanding. I remember being here very vividly. Hope you got a shot of the inside. Big thumbs up on this one, Patti.
I would love to volunteer but after all these years, I am having a little difficulty fitting into my toga and tunic. But if needed, I will sharpen my sword and await the opening of the gladiator gate to entertain you and your friends. Just call 1-800-The-Dumy.
Now why on earth would you take a picture of a busted building? Sheesh don't they have anything good in Rome to take pictures of? It's nice but really...you need to find something that's not broken.
Judging from the light this shot look liks it has been take in the morning sometime. Excellent light in this shot. Next time tell all those people to move out of the frame! lol. Great shot. The blue sky really stands out.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

A place I will for sure visit one day - but did you find out how to get ride of the Italians by now??? Smile. And about the image ... what to say about a perfect image? Hmmmm, okay ... It is just perfect.
My dear friends! I hope you forgive me for not commenting and answering that much recently. Thats because of the weather situation here, that takes all my energy. I promise to do better as soon as there will be more sun again. Smile
I just saw this on the travel channel. The holes in the wall are from the marble pieces that were removed to be used to build other building. A lovely shot.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
