..........the remains of the Temple of Castor & Pollux in the Roman Forum. ... the building at the base was in the shade and not visible, so I moved the curves slightly and created slightly more drama in the sky! ...no bad comments or you will be struck by the curse of the Gods! lol!

I'd be scared to even breathe behind it, it looks so precarious. As for bad comments, I just know that would bring it crashing down.

Think this is my favourite of all your Rome posts so far Patti. The light's just wonderful and those tweaks to the sky have worked a treat. It catches the solidity and the fragility of something that's been standing there for 2,000 years.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

More busted buildings...everyone likes looking at them. Here they call them slums and no one wants to see them. Nice shot even if they are busted.

Don't know how much "drama" was needed in the sky. This is a very powerful image the way you've composed this. The ruins dominate this image. Great capture of what appears to be a very precarious structural remains. Not so sure I'd be all that comfortable being so close.:)
