....I found time to take a little trip out and visited Dunham Massey Park for an hour or so on Sunday afternoon. Sunday was another grey day and you can see how lifeless the sky is, but I managed to avoid the showers for once. I have used the framing to cover the white sky - there was no point replacing it as the colours and light would not have worked with the rest of the photo. :)

I usually just cover up my bland skies with my hand after uploading. LOL. I really like that frame, and the shot is nice with those reflections, and the tree branches hanging down. Very good, Patti.

The postwork and the reflections are really good Patti. Grey skies get tiresome. When the sky is really nice I want to take pictures of everything. Trouble is I already have. I like how you played the hand that was dealt you. Tells me a lot. Good post.

This kind of shot is so much your speciality. Beautifully framed between the foliage, no converging verticals, horizon perfectly level. Or is the water flowing slightly downhill to the left...? Was this a flood by the way or is there meant to be a river there? Anyway, if I was Sherlock Holmes I would say 'Exemplary dear Watson'.

Think we all are confrontated from time to time with a lifeless sky Patti. Although the weather conditions were not that good, the capture is lovely. Love the reflections in the water.

A beautiful picture, Patti. I particularly like the rich brick colour and the reflections. However I think I'm the only person so far who's not over keen on the frame. I think that the foliage in the frame confuses the picture somewhat.

I love the water in this one. That glassy surface is to die for. I think the use of a Selection Brush and then removal/replace color might have worked for the sky? I dunno.
