....and not really a pool, more a lake, but known as Poynton Pool in Cheshire and a very popular place for the local fishermen.

This is a very lush scene. I love the deep greens and the reflections. The frame looks great too. Very nice Patti.

There is so much geometry in this shot! You have a terrific triangle going from the lower left bushes, to the tree in the center, and over to the trees to the right. Diagonals and other triangles. I guess, what I have failed to say, this is so very well composed. It is a beautiful presentation.

Last one in the pool is a Poynton. I always wondered where that saying originated. Great reflections and I like the little old shack across the way. Adds to the beauty. Great vantage point you chose here Patti. Is that a golf course on the other side of the trees.

Pool or not I think I'd have to jump in to get out of the clammy weather today. Speaking of which, did you see the article today about the swimmer in a lake in Sweden who got 'caught' by a fisherman and reeled in 40 metres with a pike hook in his throat. Priceless. He wasn't seriously hurt. Lovely shot here Patti, quintessentially English and beautifully put together.
